Drama Queen

I know it has been a while, but man have things been crazy. Our life is kind of in a whirlwind with all of Marco’s acting stuff. It not only keeps him busy, but Leisa and I too. Speaking of which, Leisa made her first debut in the short film The Misguided that Marco produced. She played Leisa (I know, isn’t it great she got to use her own name), that daughter of a young troubled mother misguided by her choices in life. She was such a ham on set. Everyone loved her, and of course she was eating it up. She did much better than we expected she would. I think I was more of a nervous wreck than she was. But I didn’t need to be because she new her queue. Who would have thought she take direction well? She doesn’t do it for me. It must have been because daddy was in charge. When they said quiet on the set, she did just that. Except for when they needed her to cry. It took a little coaxing, and me being a mean mommy, to get her to cry like they needed her to. All it took was a little teasing of food. Remember, I told you how she can be when it comes to her food. That is not a force to be reckoned with. All in all, I think she had a lot of fun. I think she really would have liked to take the boom microphone home with her. That became her new best friend on set. Well, besides Marnee (her stage mommy). She took to her very well. I think they developed quite the friendship. Marnee was great with her, and I have to thank her for taking such good care of her during all her scenes. It was hard to hand her over, but I had a lot of faith Marnee could handle her. Except for her weight. I think that is something only mommy can handle. I love it! It was so much fun watching her interact with everyone and become the little movie star I know her daddy would like her to be. We will love her just the same, movie star or not! Since it’s been a while, I’ll let you take that all in for now and there will be more to come in a few days. Stay tuned!
